Yummy!! New Japanese Goodies!!
I went to the Mitsuwa marketplace a couple of days ago … I stopped into the bookstore there to browse the misc. pattern books.
I brought these fine goodies home with me:

You’ll notice that under each is a .pdf link. I’ve scanned the designs of each so that you may enjoy the pictures, too. The patterns aren’t scanned because, well, that’s illegal!!

I don’t really make a lot of bags, so I haven’t concerned myself with the hardware… I know that General Bead has purse frames http://www.genbead.com
I travel a lot. I will make sure to keep an eye open for this stuff in the future!! I’ll be in the SF Bay Area this weekend. Maybe I’ll hunt around a bit …

Now all we have to do is find a supplier for all those really cool Japanese handbag hardware! If you have a supplier, please, do share. All I have is superbuzzy, an online store based in Oregon. The owner also tries upon request to bring home some purse hardware from her trips to Japan.
